Chapter 1148

Estelle quirked an eyebrow, responding, “I don’t get pushed around,”

Tm talking hypothetically!”

Estelle thought for a moment, then decisively replied, “I wouldn’t.”

Jonathan immediately felt a bit disheartened, sighing. “So I’m that useless, huh?”

Estelle’s lips twitched slightly as she quietly explained, “It’s not about you, I’m just used to dealing with things on my own.”

Jonathan took her hand, “You could try leaning on me, you know?

In Henson’s presence, Estelle pulled her hand back, responding with a nonchalant, “Hmm.”

Jonathan’s spirits lifted instantly, his lips even curving into a small, unconscious smile.

The girl hung up her call and looked at Estelle seriously, “My husband’s a professional shooter, just you wait!”

Henson scoffed, “Well, I’m so scared”

The coach asked Estelle if they wanted to continue playing.

Jonathan knew Estelle and Henson still wanted to play, so he simply nodded, “Another round.”

“We can’t just leave. Otherwise, someone might think we chickened out!” Henson snorted.

The red team was waiting for players, during which they sat together studying the terrain and hideouts.

Jonathan was standing a dozen meters away. He took off his scarf from his neck, put it on the ground, calling Estelle over, “Come, have a seat!”

Estelle walked over, returned his scarf, and without any hesitation sat on the ground.

“It’s okay, they’re all for you!” Jonathan smiled, unabashedly favoring her.

Estelle huffed, “Is that how you treat kids?”

“Ive been good to him for over ten years. From now on, I’ll mainly be good to you.” Jonathan looked at her, his eyes twinkling with amusement, his tone both serious and teasing.

Estelle’s hand, unwrapping the chocolate, paused.

Jonathan gazed at her blushing earlobe, his eyes brimming with tenderness. He leaned against a tree trunk, legs bent, looking out at the dense jungle, his mood as bright as the clear sky.

After finishing a piece of chocolate, Estelle frowned, “Why isn’t Henson back yet?”

“Don’t worry, he couldn’t possibly get lost,” Jonathan responded nonchalantly. In truth, he was hoping Henson would take a bit longer to return, so he could have more alone time with Estelle.
