Estelle kept a poker face, not even blinking. She swiftly reached out, snatched the snake, wrapped it in denim jacket, and stood up, offering it to Yulia. “You want it? If not, I’m taking it to the kitchen for soup!”

Estelle gave Yulia a smile. “So you’re scared of snakes? I thought it was your pet. Why else would it be in your clothes? This snake, the Blackstripe, is very good at detecting human scent. It’s already used to your clothes, it might come looking for you again.”
