Lucille’s eyes flickered, “Jonathan, what do you mean by this?” 

Jonathan’s indifferent gaze swept over her face, “What, you don’t know them?” 

Lucille forced a dry laugh, “How would I know these people?” 

The man squatting in front suddenly raised his head, “Lucille, I’m Gary. It was you who asked me to deal with that young lady. You can’t deny it. If you do, they’re going to kill me!” 

Lucille’s face changed instantly, she shouted angrily, “What nonsense are you talking about? I never asked you to do anything. I don’t even know you. Don’t try to shift the blame and tarnish my reputation!” 

Gary widened his eyes, panicked, “Lucille, how could you do this! I’ve done a lot for you, you’re going to get me killed!” 

“You’re the one slandering me. Who instructed you to do this?” Lucille gritted her teeth and pointed at him, her voice sharp, “Is it Estelle? She planned this whole drama just to frame me!” 

Jonathan spoke coldly, “Who told you the person they harmed was Estelle?” 

Lucille was taken aback, her face turned pale, and she stammered an explanation, “I… I guessed it.” 

Jonathan turned to the man on the ground, “Do you have any evidence to support your claim that she instructed you?” 

“I do, I do!” Gary immediately replied, “I have the record of Lucille transferring money to me on my phone. If you take my phone and check it, you’ll know!” 

Morgan immediately found Gary’s phone from a pile of phones and asked him to unlock it. 

Lucille’s eyes widened, her heart panicked, she rushed to grab Gary’s phone, but was pushed away by Morgan. 

Gary found the transfer record and showed it to Jonathan excitedly, “This is the two hundred thousand that Lucille gave me. She said that after the job was done, she would give one hundred thousand each to whoever fucked that girl.” 

Lucille looked at Jonathan anxiously, her whole body trembling. 

Jonathan slowly stood up, looking at Lucille, “What did Estelle do to you that made you treat her this way?” 

In his condescending tone tinged with a chill, the entire room fell silent. 

Lucille’s face was pale, she bit her lip and said tremblingly, “It was me. What can you do about it? What’s so good about that Estelle? How come she can have you? I hate her so much. I wish she was dead!” 

Her voice choked up, “Jonathan, I like you, I can’t let someone else take you away!” 

Jonathan answered coldly, “Then let me tell you, even without Estelle, I wouldn’t like you! If you dare to hurt her, you’re crossing my line!” Tears welled up in Lucille’s eyes. She looked at him in despair, crying and laughing, “Jonathan, how can you treat my feelings for you this way? You want revenge for her? Fine, kill me then, if you have the guts, kill me!” 

Jonathan looked at her with disgust, then turned to Gary and the others, “Whatever she made you do to that girl, you do the same to her. Whoever does it well, I will let him go. Do you understand?”
