Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 1273

Chapter 1273

Charlie turned around and gave him a cold stare, “What do you really want to say?”

Gavin shrugged, “1 heard you were pissed off, so I just wanted to see what you look like when you’re mad”

And boy, he did look scary when he was angry!

Emily didn’t cry just now; Gavin admired her courage!

After finishing his cigarette, Charlie returned to his desk to work. He calmed down, and said Indifferently. “You’ve seen it, you can leave now.”

“Alright then, I’ll get back to working for you!” Gavin said with a laugh, then added, “Don’t bully Emily anymore, she’s so pretty and cute, how could you bear to yell at her?”

Charlie responded with a casual “hmm”.

If he didn’t scold her, would she even realize how foolish she’s been?

Did she really think she could be happy with Martin?

Did she know anything about Martin’s family situation?

Making a wrong decision on impulse!

If she really ended up with Martin; the Sullivan family would bully her until she had nothing left!

Emily walked out of the office and sat in her chair, zoning out for a long time.

This was the first time she saw Charlie so angry, he must hate her. He was unable to protect the woman he loved and seeing her on a date with Martin, of course, he would take his anger out on her.

She finally understood what he meant when he said he didn’t want a woman and wouldn’t allow her to date.

Tracy took back the band-aid and didn’t say anything else, she went back to her desk and continued to work.

Emily didn’t defend herself in front of Mr. James and didn’t blame Tracy, which surprised her.

She looked at Emily again, her face was a bit awkward

When Gavin came out, Emily was in the copy room copying files. Gavin walked over, leaned against the door, and asked with a warm smile, “Emily, why was Mr. James so angry?”

Emily looked at him with clear eyes and said lightly, “Because I did something wrong”

“That’s not it!” Gavin laughed and shook his head

Emily raised an eyebrow, thinking that Gavin had found something, and looked at him in confusion.
