Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 1370

Chapter 1370

If Emily never planned to tie the knot in her life, then this toy "wedding" today will be something she'll remember forever.

She suddenly got scared, scared that Charlie was pulling her leg and she was falling for it.

What scared her more was the thought of ending up like Noreen, being unable to control her emotions and eventually being dumped by Charlie.

No woman who crossed Charlie ended up well.

She corrected herself. Woman who fell for him also didn’t end up well.

Emily slowly removed her ring, opened the drawer of her bedside table, and tucked the ring deep inside.

Kya was already asleep.

Lying next to her, looking at her adorable sleeping face, Emily's heart was still pounding.

Should she keep some distance from Charlie?

Emily felt like she was standing on the edge of a cliff, one step forward and she'd be done for.

After Charlie took a shower, he answered a call.

After hanging up, he checked the time. It was over an hour since Emily had left, but she hadn't come to say hi.

Was she already asleep?

Charlie left his room and glanced at the closed master bedroom door. Thinking Emily might be tired, he didn’t go looking for her,

letting her sleep.

He headed towards the kitchen, planning to grab a bottle of water.

But on his way to the living room, he stopped.

The living room lights were off, and it was dim. Emily was sitting on the balcony, her back to him.

In the moonlight, her arms wrapped around her knees, her body looking even more fragile.

"You talk as if I'm doing this for myself; Charlie chuckled lightly.

Emily blushed slightly.

"Your brother Elliott is already married, whether it's people from the Ferber Family or the Sullivan family, you should stay away, you need to live a good life with Kya."

Emily nodded, "I know:

“What are your plans then?" Charlie asked.

Emily smiled, "My plan is to live a happy and fulfilling life with Kya."

"What about me?" Charlie turned to look at her.

Emily looked into his deep eyes, paused for a moment, and swallowed the sip of beer she had in her mouth, looking a bit dazed.

Charlie wanted to laugh a bit, "I want to ask you, what do you think of me? Or did you never consider me?"

"You,' Emily hesitated, "You must have your own life too.”
