Chapter 1535 

Craig whispered, “There was a producer who wanted to use you as the face for this show, but it seemed like someone warned him off, so he didn’t dare 

to do it.” 

Estelle raised an eyebrow. Jonathan was the first person who popped into her mind! 

Initially, she thought about calling him to ask, but then she figured he’d already done so much for her. She knew in her heart that was enough. 

A week passed, and on Wednesday, Bennett came to the set to find her but didn’t manage to see her. 

Estelle’s father sent someone to find her, too, but the crew members directly stopped him. There was an incident where someone sneaked into the set and threw a bottle of sulfuric acid, almost injuring Estelle, so Mr. Tucker decided to ramp up the security in the set, and other crew members also voluntarily protected Estelle. 

Estelle was still busy. People saw her as friendly and approachable, so they gradually relaxed and interacted with her like before. 

On Friday afternoon, before Jonathan came to pick her up, he called her in advance, saying that it’s been a while since everyone hung out together, and it was an excellent opportunity to celebrate for Estelle. He had already agreed. 

Actually, Charlie, Carson, and others had suggested more than once to have a party to celebrate for Estelle, but Jonathan always declined.

Estelle said, “Alright, I have a bit of work left. I can finish it up quickly.” 

“No rush.” Jonathan softly said, “No matter how late, they’ll wait for you.” 

Estelle couldn’t help but laugh. She cracked a few jokes with Jonathan, then hung up and got back to work. 

When evening,came, Estelle walked over to where Jonathan parked his car. 

Jonathan had been waiting for a while, after she got in the car, he leaned over to help her buckle her seat belt, then naturally kissed her lips. 

Estelle wanted to break free, but suddenly, she tasted the sweetness of peach candy. 

A while later, Jonathan stopped, his long fingers gently traced the corner of her lips. He asked with a smile, “Sweet?” 

Estelle’s eyes shimmered, “Did you eat candy?“” 

“Would you like me more if I did?” There was a hint of sparkle in the man’s dark eyes, extremely captivating. 

Estelle took the initiative to give him a peck on his full lips, “I like.” 

Jonathan couldn’t help but kiss back. Only when he noticed reporters approaching did he let her go and start the car to leave. 

While driving, he held Estelle’s hand. 

Soon, there was a candy in Estelle’s hand. She unwrapped the paper and put the candy in her mouth, tasting the familiar sweetness of peach.
