Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 1869

Estelle glared at him, "Mr. Lamont, you need to understand that the choice is mine to make."

Jonathan's brow creased slightly, "Ella, it's time for you to head home. We've only had two days together and now we're facing a goodbye."

His tone was steady, yet the deep abyss of his eyes always seemed to convey a trace of melancholy, and his mention of parting struck a chord in Estelle's heart.

She took a deep breath and pulled out the lingerie, "Just once!"

Jonathan lifted the garment curiously, "Isn't it a one-time thing? You planned to wear it more than once?"

Estelle was speechless.

She shouldn't have said that.

As he held the lingerie, Jonathan's gaze grew intense, and he scooped Estelle into his arms, "Don't worry, you won't have to lift a finger. I'm more than happy to help you out!"

Estelle flipped over, wrapping her legs around his waist and suddenly asking, "Do they make these for men too?"

Just out of curiosity!

Jonathan immediately denied, "Nope!"

"Maybe I'll ask Magdalen some other day, mmmh."

Estelle's question was silenced by his lips, which also smothered all her curiosity back .

Tonight, Mr. Lamont's sweet nothings were exceptionally tender, seemingly to comfort and soothe Estelle. Of course, the ferocity hidden beneath the gentleness was still enough to send shivers down her spine.

When Estelle was gently laid on the bed, Jonathan leaned down and seized the moment while her consciousness was hazy to ask in a husky whisper, "Ever had feelings for Manley?"

"Hmm?" Estelle's eyes were slightly unfocused.

"In those two years abroad, did you ever feel something for him?" Jonathan's gaze was intense, with a stormy undercurrent swirling in his eyes.

Estelle's trembling hand cradled his face and her eyes was shimmering with tears as she shook her head, "No, I had you in my heart. How could I fall for someone else?"
