Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 2401

Sophia Jones ended the call, rubbed her lower back, and grabbed her water bottle before stepping out onto the balcony to soak up some sun. Her gaze, however, halted abruptly.

Not too far away, a red Porsche 911 was parked in front of Jason's house. Someone got out of the car, carrying a basket of fruits towards Jason's place.

Even from a distance, Sophia recognized her immediately as Jewel.

An involuntary thought of that dream made her heart skip a beat.

She finished her water, telling herself not to overthink, and went back to work.

Finnian had sent her all the fashion sketches, and she calmed herself to help him choose models, although her gaze occasionally wandered outside.

Jewel visiting the Gilder family was undoubtedly there to see Jason.

Was she pursuing Jason again?

Given last night's interaction, Jason seemed not entirely indifferent toward her.

Unable to resist, Sophia reached for her phone. Jason hadn't sent her a single message all morning, nor had he called her for a meeting.

So, were they out on a date?

Descending to the kitchen for water, she found her mom simmering a pot of chicken soup with collagen, almost ready. It was being transferred into an insulated container as her mom said, “I'm heading over to the Gilder family. Lia gave us this collagen, and I made extra to share with her.”

“I'll go!” Sophia quickly offered.

“Feeling industrious today?” Jasmine Jones teased.

Sophia grinned, “Well, I'm heading over to drop off a design draft to Jason anyway. It's on the way.”

“Alright then, take it to Lia while it's still hot.” Jasmine secured the lid on the container and handed it over to Sophia.

Bundling up in her down jacket, Sophia stepped out.

Arriving at the Gilder family's, Mrs. Gilder greeted her with a warm smile, “Sophia, dear!”

“Lia!” Sophia called out, slipping into house slippers, “Mom finished the chicken soup with collagen and sent some over for you.”

As they chatted, Jason and Jewel came inside. Jason was expressionless upon seeing Sophia, but Jewel greeted her with a warm smile, “Sophia, when did you get here?”

Sophia knew Jewel was aware of her arrival; someone had been glancing towards the living room ever since.

It's hard to hide affection, and Sophia wondered why she hadn't noticed it yet.

Standing up, Sophia, in her white sweater and neatly trimmed hair, looked both playful and radiant, “Jewel, I brought over some chicken soup with collagen from my mom. Would you like to try some?”

Mrs. Gilder called for a servant to fetch bowls.

Jewel gratefully responded, “Thank you, Sophia. And please thank your mom for me!”

Mrs. Gilder stood up, “I'll leave you young people to chat. I'm going upstairs to make a call. Don't leave at noon; stay for lunch.”

Jewel thanked her politely.

With Mrs. Gilder gone, the living room held an inexplicably delicate atmosphere among the three.
