Estelle panted heavily, shivering, clutching Jonathan’s shirt with such force that her fingers were white and trembling.

“It’s okay, babe, everything is okay now!” Jonathan gently stroked her hair and whispered reassurances.

Estelle closed her eyes, gradually calming down, the red in front of her eyes fadingd into a warm yellow light.

She was drenched in sweat, and she lay limply in Jonathan’s arms.

For a long time, neither of them spoke, Jonathan just held her tightly, his arm gently cradling her head.

Estelle completely came back to reality and got up from Jonathan’s arms, looking pale but her voice steady, “I’m fine, I just… had a dream!”

Ever since she had been together with Jonathan, she hadn’t dreamed about them for a long time, and even when she had, it was the image of the seven of them fighting side by side and ultimately winning.
