Chapter 342

Jonathan as taken aback, then frowned, his eyes cold and somber

Estelle and Many sat at the table, with Estelle holding a pen, writing, and Manley holding a book in one hand and a pen in the other, also writing. There was a cake box beside them, with cream still on the comer of his mouth from eating the cake.

Manley’s pink suit jacket was hung on the chair, wearing only a light gray shirt He raised his hand to wipe the corner of his mouth, smiling charmingly, and looked at Jonathan. ‘Mr. Lamont, you’re half an hour later than I thought you’d be!”

Jonathan looked past Manley at Estelle, who didn’t move, just gazing at him calmly.

Estelle’s calm, indifferent eyes felt like a bucket of cold water, dousing his anger.

His initial rage subsided quickly.

His face gradually returned to its calm state, with a cold and still look in his eyes. He glanced indifferently at Estelle and Manley, “Sorry, I must’ve opened the wrong door. You guys carry on!”

With that, he turned and walked away.

Charlie was waiting outside, and when he saw Jonathan come out, he gave him a meaningful look, his expression calm.

Carson saw Jonathan walk away and asked Charlie with a frown, “Did Jonathan really break Ms. Macclain?”

up with

Charlie raised an eyebrow and scoffed coldly. “If Estelle and Manley were doing something else in there, do

you think he’d be so calm?”

Carson chuckled, “But knowing Jonah’s temper, he wouldn’t just walk away like that either!” Charlie sighed and muttered, “This is something he has to figure out on his own.”

Carson wanted to tell Charlie about what he saw at the hospital that day, but finally he didn’t say

anything.

As the door closed again, Estelle’s face turned a shade paler, and her clear eyes seemed to be filled

with tears.

Manley’s eyes flickered with surprise, and he turned to look at Estelle, raising an eyebrow. “Did you break up with Jonathan?”

Estelle ignored him and continued writing.

Manley was sure he guessed right, and his eyes gleamed. “Baby, you’ve finally come to your senses. Jonathan ain’t worth it, you should’ve dumped him a long time ago!”

Estelle kept her head down and said flatly, “So you don’t have to bother me anymore either.”

Manley smirked. “That’s a separate matter. Now that you’ve broken up with him, I can openly pursue you.”

Estelle gave him a sidelong glance. “Do you want to come here every day and be punished with writing?”

Manley’s smile froze on his face, and he looked at her mournfully. “Baby, can’t you be a little more merciful?*

Estelle showed no emotion, “Every time you bother me, I’ll make you practice writing here. If you like it, by all means ‘ome!”

Manley shook his head and sighed. “Estelle, you’re so hard on me. One day, you’ll regret it!”

Estelle held back her temper and ignored him.

After a while, a guest from another room wanted to buy some wine. Estelle got up to deliver the wine, and before going out, she said coldly, “Before I return, you must finish copying two pages, or you’ll have to do it all over again.”

Manley was speechless.
