Chapter 368
The girl turned around, her eyes sharp, “What do you think I would film?”
The man stated hard at the girl, “You’re not Darcey!”
The girl’s expression was cold, “Of course not!”
“You’re the usual waiter who serves the drinks?”
The man’s eyes were cold as he stood up and walked towards her, “Who sent you? Give me what you filmed, or I will make your death very ugly!”
“Stay there, don’t move!” Estelle suddenly had something in her hand, pointing at the man, “You’ve done so many disgusting things, do you really think you can survive by changing your identity? I’m here to punish you today!”
The man dared not move, seeing the thing in the girl’s hand that looked like a gun but not quite, much smaller than a regular gun, with a slender silver barrel that gave off a gloomy light.
He felt like he’d seen this special weapon somewhere before, and as a sudden thought occurred to him, his face changed dramatically, looking at Estelle incredulously, “You… you are…”
Estelle’s beautiful face was ice cold, and she spoke indifferently, “It’s over!”
With that said, she pulled the trigger, and instead of bullets, a thin silver needle like a hair shot straight into the man’s heart.
The man clutched his chest and stepped back, then came to his senses, yelled, and quickly walked towards the door, only to fall to the ground after two steps.
He didn’t die right away, but was speechless with fear, staring at Estelle with terror in his eyes.
Estelle’s expression didn’t change as she turned to leave the room, and before closing the door, she flicked a match out of her hand. The match fell on the alcohol she had previously spilled, and the fire spread rapidly across the carpet.
The man stared wide-eyed as the fire crept closer to him, his mouth open in terror, but he could only make desperate, whimpering noises.
Estelle left the room calmly, closing the door tightly behind her, then returned to the previous
restroom.
Each room in the Midnight Bar had firewalls, and it was only ten minutes later when the fire in room 6616 was discovered. The fire had burned the door, and a passing waiter had found it.
The entire sixth floor was plunged into chaos, with guests running and hiding, waiters shouting for help, and someone yelling for someone to call the fire department…
On the eighth floor, Mamie acted immediately to evacuate the guests, telling everyone to go to their private rooms and leave with the guests.
Amy ran into room 8809, panicking and shouting, “Run, there’s a fire!”
Charlie, who was playing cards, looked up, “Where’s the fire?”
Amy said in terror, “It seems to be on the sixth floor!”
Jonathan jerked his head up, his brows furrowed, then stood up and strode out.
“Mr. Lamont!” Amy shouted, “Mamie told me to take you guys away, where are you going?”
Jonathan’s face was pale, ignoring Amy’s screams as he strode towards the stairwell, only to see it crowded with people, pushing and shouting, desperate to escape as if it were the end of the world.
Without hesitation, Jonathan quickly turned back and looked for the elevator.
When the fire broke out, the elevator was empty, and Jonathan took it straight to the sixth floor.
The situation on the sixth floor was even more chaotic, with thick smoke everywhere and firefighters already on the scene, spraying water on the door of room 6616 to put out the fire. The alarm. system in the other rooms had been triggered, and the noise was deafening, creating a mess.
