Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 639

Chapter 639

She drove back, and by the time she arrived at the Macclain family’s place in N City, it was already dark. The maid Edith was waiting for her outside As soon as she saw her getting out of the car, Edith came over immediately, “Miss Sabina, Old Mr. And Mrs. Macclain specifically told me to wait for you here, come on in.”

Sabina, dressed in a camel coat with wavy curls, walked into the courtyard with a strong aura.

The lights in the villa’s living room were bright, and the Macclain family was all there. Seeing Sabina coming, Terrence and Elizabeth got up first. The others followed suit, greeting her warmly, as if the great hero of the Macclain family had returned.

Elizabeth held Sabina’s hand with a loving smile, “You’ve been working all day, you must be tired, right?”

After saying that, she turned to Edith, “Serve Sabina a bowl of the truffle mushroom soup that’s been prepared.”

Natalia laughed, “Mom, Sabina is Mr. Lamont’s personal assistant, and even has two or three assistants under her. She won’t be tired!”

Terrence leaned back in his chair, with his hands on the armrests, laughing, “Exactly!”

Sabina gave a slight smile.

“I just want to spoil my granddaughter!” Elizabeth said with an indescribable love on her face.

Natalia glanced at Bennett’s family and Stanley’s family, and laughed, “I’m just afraid that you’ll spoil her rotten, making it hard for her to find a suitable husband in the future”

Elizabeth said meaningfully, ‘Sabina will definitely marry into a wealthy family like the Lamonts in the future, with seven or eight servants waiting on her every day, taking care of her even better than I do!”

Leonie pouted her lips, exchanged a glance with Simone, and the corners of their mouths hooked up in a jealous smirk.

The Macclains only had one daughter, Sabina, and the other children had to take a back seat!

After chatting for a while, Edith came over and said dinner was ready

Elizabeth held Sabina’s hand all the time, “Sabina, sit next to me!”

Sabina smiled gently, “Sure, grandma!*

After everyone took their seats, Terrence ordered a lobster to be peeled for Sabina first.

Such obvious favoritism made Leonie unbearably jealous, “Sallie, don’t insist on being a designer at Snowy Studios. Why don’t you work at the Lamont Group like Sabina? Your grandparents would be just as happy!”

Simone thought Leonie was deliberately belittling Carmella and laughed, “It’s not like anyone can just waltz into Snowy Studios if they want to.” Leonie was taken aback. She was originally targeting Corley Macclain’s family, not knowing why Simone was being sarcastic. Her face turned sour, and she sneered, “Estelle got in, so how hard can it be?”

Mentioning Estelle, Sabina looked over with a displeased expression.

Sallie, sitting beside her, spoke coldly, “Mom, why do you keep bringing up Estelle?”

Leonie glared at Sallie and whispered, “Why do you always protect Estelle?”

Sallie ignored her.

Natalia suddenly spoke, “I haven’t seen Estelle for a while. Today’s Saturday, and Carmella’s off. Why not invite Estelle along?”

Bennett hurriedly explained, “Estelle has other part-time jobs, she’s very busy.

Sabina’s heart felt even more constricted as she imagined Estelle and Jonathan having dinner together. Her tone turned cold as she said, “Carmella, I heard that Estelle is involved in Mr. Mayfield’s new movie as a costume designer. Why didn’t you fight for such an important opportunity?”
