Nobody dares to mess with her!” Estelle nodded, deciding not to inquire any further. She finished eating her cherries, packed up her belongings, and prepared to head home. While on her way home, Estelle received a call from Jonathan, his voice gentle and caring. “Are you done with work? Il come pick you up ” Estelle replied, Tm on my way. I’ll be home soon.”
“In that case, you go ahead and go home first pick you up later. It’s Carson’s birthday tonight, and we’re all getting together,” Jonathan suggested
“Ainght” Estelle agreed
After ending the call Estelle pondered for a moment and then dialed Magdalen’s number When the call connected, she wasted no time in asking, “Carson Foster’s birthday is approaching What kind of gift should I bring?”
Magdalen seemed to be driving, she replied, ‘For a man’s birthday, you can give a tit, lighter, watch, anything!“i
Estelle thought about how Carson smoked a lot, so she said, I give him a lighter,”Ella*
Tm at my stop, gotta go, let’s chat later!”
With that. Estele hung up.
Magdalen hadnt even reacted yet, and was a bit annoyed when she saw the call had been disconnected. She wanted to chat with Estelle, but Estelle just used her and hung up!
Estelle went to Silverspring Shopping Centre near the Royal Mansion, and headed straight for the luxury counter.
When she walked in, she said she wanted to buy a lighter and asked the salesperson for some help.
The salesperson recommended one, but Estelle had her eyes on another one, asking, “Can I see this one, please?”
The salesperson smiled and reminded her, “This model is limited edition, only two in the country, and the diamonds on it are real, so it’s a bit more expensive
“Yeah, can you even afford this? If you want to buy something for your boyfriend, go check out some street vendors!”
A sarcastic voice suddenly came from behind. Estelle turned around and saw it was Nanette
