Estelle and Carmella share the same birthday. Simone didn’t feel guilty for overlooking Estelle and favoring Carmella Her first reaction when she saw Estelle was to get angry.

Carmella whispered, ‘Why would my sister come? She’s not planning to announce her identity at the birthday party, is she?”

Her voice choked up, and she looked at Simone pleadingly, “Mom, can we not announce it today? After today, I can give her back the title of the Macclain family daughter anytime she wants. Please, let me spend this birthday with you?”
