Chapter 793
“Nope, I gotta watch TV,”
“Is the TV really more attractive than me?”
“Yup.”
Jonathan: “…”
The two kept chatting until it was 11 pm. Estelle had to accompany her grandpa, so she asked Jonathan to go to sleep first. “I’m not sleepy. I’ll sleep whenever you do.”
He heard people talking downstairs, probably the Hanson family was leaving.
Old Mr. Jarvis suddenly looked over and asked, “What’s so funny?”
Estelle quickly put away her phone, her eyes full of laughter, “It’s the holidays, I’m just happy.”
“I think you’re happy because of that Lamont family boy!” Old Mr. Jarvis shook his head and laughed, “Go to sleep, don’t keep me company. We have to get up early tomorrow.”
“I’m not sleepy!” Estelle immediately shook her head.
Old Wade came in and said with a smile, “You all go to sleep!”
Old Mr. Jarvis waved his hand, “Everyone go to bed!”
“I’m not sleepy yet.” Old Wade insisted.
“Don’t stay up late. Everyone go to sleep!” Old Mr. Jarvis got up and pushed Estelle and Old Wade out, “I’m going to sleep too, no more staying up!”
“Let me walk you to your room!” Estelle held Old Mr. Jarvis’s arm.
Old Wade followed behind.
Old Mr. Jarvis looked into the distance, his eyes deep and thoughtful.
Estelle knew he was thinking of his brother and couldn’t help but tighten her grip on Old Mr. Jarvis’s arm. Amiee was with
him.
Old Mr. Jarvis took a deep breath and patted Estelle’s hand, “Let’s go.”
