Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 797

Chapter 797

Old Mr. Jarvis saw Estelle looking down and not speaking. He seemed to know what she was thinking and bluntly said, “You used to come home often, and I’ve never seen you like this. You’re becoming more and more like a little girl with no guts! Do whatever you need to do, don’t mind me. I’m comfortable at home, and there will be guests coming in the next few days, so even if you stay, I won’t have time for you!”

Estelle nodded, “The team is about to start shooting, once I return to J City. I’ll go straight to work. I’ll call you then.”

“Good!”

In the evening, Estelle chatted and played chess with Old Mr. Jarvis. Around ten, she told him to go to bed and she went back to her room too.

Old Wade escorted her back, chuckling, “Ms. Macclain, you don’t need to worry about a thing, I’ll be with the old man. Just take care of your own business!”

Estelle smiled, “You’re a gem, Old Mr. Wade.”

“Oh, it’s nothing. I feel grounded when I’m with him.”

Old Wade stayed till Estelle entered her room and kindly said, “It’s cold outside, go in, Ms. Macclain.”

“You too, Old Mr. Wade, go get some sleep.”

“Sure thing!”

Estelle entered her room, took a picture of a rose, and posted it on Facebook. No words, just a simple picture of a magnified petal with a blurred background.

After taking the picture, Estelle took a shower. After blow-drying her hair, she lay on her bed and heard a sound from her phone. She checked it and saw that many people had commented on her Facebook post.

Carson, Andrew, Jane, and others liked it, and there were comments below.

“Ella, you actually posted!” from Magdalen.

“No wonder Jonathan posted a weird picture. Turns out you guys are flaunting your relationship!” from Charlie.

Estelle read the comments for a while and suddenly remembered something. She opened Facebook again and indeed saw a picture posted by Jonathan.

The picture was the same as the one she posted, with no words.

Estelle saw the likes pouring in.

Suddenly, there was an additional comment from Norah, “Uncle, you’re copying Estelle’s picture!”

Estelle felt a bit guilty and exited Facebook.

She then sent Jonathan a message, “Why did you use my picture?”

“I like it.”
