Alivia was already feeling cold all over, in a daze, and completely unaware of the movements behind her. It was only when Owen kicked her that she regained some consciousness, her vision blurry for a moment, and after a while, it gradually cleared up.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw a face with a scar across it. Her pupils shrank, and she instinctively shrank back.
"You're not dead yet." Owen chuckled; his mouth still smeared with the greasiness from the meal earlier. He raised his hand and touched Alivia's somewhat dirty face, giving it a firm pat. "Are you hungry?"
His rough fingers rubbed against her skin, and Alivia felt a sense of nausea and disgust. She turned her head to avoid him, her big eyes staring at him with vigilance and fear.
"Quite feisty, huh?" Her actions seemed to excite Owen. Instead of stopping, he became even more reckless, smearing his hand all over her face, from her forehead down to her nose, and finally, his swollen fingers traced towards her lips. In Alivia's eyes, a flash of fierceness appeared. Like a cornered rabbit, she fiercely opened her mouth and bit down hard on his finger.
"Ah!" Owen screamed in agony. He didn't expect her to bite him without any warning suddenly. She clamped down on his index finger with full force, showing no mercy at all. Her teeth pierced through the flesh, immediately creating a gash, and dark red blood oozed out, a shocking sight.
Owen struggled to get up, but he had to bend down because of the bite. He raised his hand and smashed it hard on her head. "Damn bitch, how dare you bite me? Let go, let go of me!"
With her head lowered, Alivia's teeth were clenched tightly, showing no signs of loosening. Her clear and distinct black-and-white eyes now appeared crimson.
Bit him to death! Bite him to death!
Her head was hit several times, each one stronger than the last, but she couldn't feel anything anymore. Her mind was filled with one belief. With her hands and feet tied, she could only bite him with her mouth. Those filthy hands were so disgusting even a slight touch from him felt unbearable.
The feelings of extreme suppression and fear that had been building up for several hours were ignited by the sight of blood at this moment.
She didn't even have time to think about the consequences. It was an animal's instinctive reaction.
Owen felt like his finger was about to break from the bite. He didn't even need to look to know that his finger was badly mutilated and bone-deep.
His face was messed up because of what Bert had done. He didn't want to lose another finger!
