Hearing his words, Evelyn felt relieved. "I'm relieved to hear that."
Caleb was a big shot in the industry, never saying anything that wasn't reliable. If he said that, then he must be confident.
Lola listened from the side and did not interrupt. She looked so quiet that it made people like her very much.
After the three of them finished their meal in the private room, they immediately moved to the store. After briefly looking at the decoration and structure of the store, Caleb left first.
Seeing Lola take the initiative to pick up her things to work, Evelyn walked over and asked, " Lola, if the store reopens, will you still come?"
"I'm willing!" Lola agreed without hesitation. She didn't even ask about her salary.
Evelyn looked at her with a smile. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure!" Lola practically wanted to pat her chest as a guarantee. "Evelyn, you know, I don't have a high level of education, and finding a job in Jewel City isn't that easy. Even if I do find one, it might not be suitable for me. But I truly love flowers and plants, and I also really like you. Working under a boss I admire and doing something I love makes me genuinely happy."
Her words were pleasant to hear, but Evelyn knew that she was not being polite. She really thought so in her heart.
They were all here to work and make money. Evelyn was touched by her words. She raised her hand and patted her on the shoulder like an elder sister. "If you are willing to come, then come. I'll raise your salary by another 25% compared to what you had before. In the future, I might not be able to come here every day when things get busy, so you'll be the store manager. I can't promise everything, but as long as this flower shop lasts, promotions and salary increases will definitely be in store for you."
Hearing this, Lola was so happy that her eyes widened. "Really? Evelyn, you're so kind. I love you so much!"
As Evelyn looked at the girl hugging her, her heart warmed up. It seemed like her life was truly starting to take a turn for the better.
After being busy at the flower shop until 3:30 in the afternoon, Evelyn left a little early to go to school and pick up Lucas.
