Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 1256

Chapter 1256 Afraid of Trouble

Beryl shook her head slightly. Her voice was not much louder than a mosquito's. "No."

Seeing this, Marcellus raised his eyebrows and asked, "Really?"

"Hmm..."

After a brief conversation, the two of them fell into an indescribable silence. Was it because of her those things had turned out this way? Beryl glanced at the door of Red Cauldron out of the corner of her eye and whispered, "What are you going to do to those people?"

Marcellus didn't expect her to ask such a question. He was stunned for a moment before slowly saying, "Nothing."

Unlike the way Marcellus had rushed into the room to protect her just now, he looked a little heavy at this moment.

Beryl was still a little scared by the reticent Marcellus, but she had to brace herself to say, "Don't hit him..."

Marcellus was provoked by her words again. "Do you still have time to care about others? Look at yourself now. Why don't you worry about yourself if you have time?"

"I'm just afraid of getting into trouble."

"What trouble?" Marcellus turned to glare at her. "Tell me what trouble." Beryl did not understand why he had suddenly gotten angry. She looked at him in confusion. "Why are you angry again."

Marcellus felt suffocated and uncomfortable. After a long while, he exhaled deeply and said, "Beryl, is there shit in your head? What are you doing in the private room that you're not in charge of? Don't you know what kind of people they are? Have you been working here for a month? Or do you actually want to attach yourself to those men even though you resisted them on the surface?"

Beryl felt like a bomb had exploded in her heart. Her eyes were moist, and her pupils were shaking violently as if an earthquake had occurred. She looked at Marcellus in disbelief. She had never expected that he would suspect her after saving her.

She felt extremely humiliated and was looked down upon.
