Marcellus seemed to be helpless, and there was a doting and indulgent tone in his voice. "What do you want?"
Beryl sniffed and did not speak.
What did he mean by what she wanted? From beginning to end, he was being unreasonable. He was forcing her!
Marcellus was upset by her crying and couldn't put down his pride to comfort her. He could only threaten her in a fierce voice, "If you keep crying, believe it or not, I'll kiss you?"
Beryl ignored her and continued to cry.
"Okay, this is your real purpose, isn't it?"
"I don't want to see you." As if Beryl was really afraid that he would kiss her, Beryl finally spoke. Her voice was soft and sounded very easy to bully. "Go away."
"Don't cry."
"I won't cry if you leave."
Marcellus felt that he had really failed. He had never been so helpless in front of anyone.
He seemed to be suspended in mid-air, unable to go up or down the stairs.
Embarrassed.
"It's just a bracelet. If you don't want to wear it, then don't wear it. You throw things and cry. What would others think if they saw you? Did I bully you?"
