Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 184

Chapter 184 My Woman

The music at the end of the movie sounded, and Evelyn came to her senses from the plot. Evelyn was a little embarrassed that she had cried for so long, but when she looked up, she

met the man’s deep eyes.

There was only light on the screen in the room. Both of them did not speak, and their eyes were filled with each other’s shadows. Huston’s heart skipped a beat, and he raised his hand to caress her smooth cheeks. The light in his eyes was like a ray of light in the deep sea, bright and almost stunning.

The man slowly leaned over as if he was holding her back or trying to get closer to her. The two of them flirted with each other until his lips were pressed against hers. He guided her

patiently and gently.

The melodious ending song of the movie lingered in the room,

lingering in the aftertaste. The atmosphere was so good.

Before he lost control, Huston let go of her. There seemed to

be frost in his eyes, but he still said frivolously, “It’s not the

right time!”

Evelyn blushed and didn’t dare to look him in the eye. For the first time, she felt that her period was coming at the wrong

time. “The movie is over.”

Huston took a deep breath and tried his best to restrain his urges. After tidying up his clothes, he sat back down. The lingering charm had yet to fade, and the air was filled with a tacit understanding between men and women.

Evelyn didn’t dare to breathe loudly. It wasn’t easy for her to wait until the movie was over. Just as Evelyn was about to walk out of the room, he grabbed her and pressed her against the wall. He lowered his head and bit her round earlobe. “Run

now. When you recover, I’ll make you pay back.”

After a good night’s rest, Evelyn’s stomach didn’t hurt so much the next day. It had been her first day, and she was fine after

that.

Huston didn’t want to go to the company, but she didn’t want to. When she thought of how she had left without saying goodbye to Matt the day before yesterday and left so much. work behind, she felt particularly apologetic and insisted on

going.

Unable to persuade her, Huston had no choice but to agree.

“Take my car.”

“No way!” Evelyn refused without hesitation. “There are reporters outside the company. If they find out…”

“So what?” Huston grabbed her soft hand and said firmly, “If I dare to take you there, aren’t you afraid of being discovered?”

“But…”

“No buts. Don’t even think about going to the company if you

don’t take my car.”

Sure enough, even if Evelyn didn’t refute, she knew it was useless, so she obediently followed him into the car.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Evelyn reached out to pull the seat belt next to her. The man glanced at her out of the corner of his eye and said, “I have to do this to you.”

Huston would never listen to her. If she was stubborn, he could

only be more stubborn than her.

Evelyn pursed her lips and didn’t say anything.

The car drove smoothly into the underground parking lot of

the office building. When the two got out of the car and were

walking to the elevator, a group of reporters with cameras suddenly appeared out of nowhere and handed her countless black microphones. Evelyn was stunned for a moment and

subconsciously raised her hand to cover her face.

“Stop taking photos, stop taking photos.” Evelyn pulled her clothes to cover her face, and her voice was so low that it was

almost inaudible.

Soon, Huston was surrounded by reporters. Everyone rushed

to him and forced them to separate.

In a panic, someone suddenly hit her on the shoulder. It should be a camera or some other equipment. Evelyn felt a sharp pain in her shoulder. She couldn’t stand still and took a few steps back to maintain her balance. Unfortunately, the inertia was so strong that she fell to the ground.

Her knees and shoulders hurt. Evelyn didn’t stand

up immediately. Instead, she lowered her head in a

self-protection posture to prevent others from seeing her

face.

What had happened these days made her lose the confidence to face it. She just wanted to hide herself.

Huston looked at the woman sitting on the ground. He

couldn’t see her expression, but he could feel her pain and

heartache.
