It was already 6:30 p.m. when Huston returned to the Royal Villa from the company. As soon as he entered the door, he 

smelled a delicious aroma of food. 

He took off his shoes and walked into the dining room to look toward the light. Evelyn was standing in front of the kitchen counter with an apron on. When she saw him return, she smiled sweetly at him and said, “You’re back just in time. 

Dinner will be ready soon!” 

The warm light fell on her, dispelling the chills from Huston’s body. He walked over and hugged her slender waist from behind. His chin rested on her shoulder, and he tilted his face 

slightly to kiss her on the cheek. 

Huston’s breath fell on her neck, and she tilted her head to

“Did you miss me?”

home and see you,” he said.

Huston caressed her cheek, cherishing the smoothness beneath his fingertips. His eyes held a tender and affectionate expression that was almost indescribable. “Okay.” 

Evelyn prepared three dishes and a soup, all on the lighter side, considering his ongoing recovery from pneumonia. She avoided making greasy or spicy foods. These small details did not go unnoticed by Huston. 

After dinner, Huston answered a phone call. After hanging up, he took Evelyn to the study on the third floor. 

Evelyn didn’t understand. “What’s wrong?” 

“Let me show you something.” His tone was mysterious. After closing the door and sitting on the desk, he pulled over a small swivel chair beside him and let her sit down. The computer screen was turned on. There was a call request, which he usually used in meetings. 

Evelyn watched as he picked up the phone as usual, but the moment her eyes swept over the screen, she froze.
