Chapter 358 Who Said I Was Angry?
Huston’s tone softened in the end when he saw her like this.
He raised his hand and patted her on the shoulder to comfort her. “No one thinks that you’re a trouble. Don’t let your
imagination run wild, okay?”
“I’m sorry, Huston. You’re so tired because of my illness.”
“Mia!” Huston emphasized, preventing Mia from continuing.
“You know what I hate to hear the most.””
In addition to feeling sorry for her, Huston also felt guilty for
her parents.
Mia naturally knew the shadow in his heart, so she didn’t
continue to talk to him. Mia just told him what was on her
mind.
Even if he went back to the bedroom a little later, Mia would
make Evelyn feel sad!
Fifteen minutes later, Huston pushed open the bedroom door
and walked in.
On the spacious bed, there was only a small bulge under the quilt. Her whole body was tightly wrapped, and not even a strand of her hair was exposed.
As if he had imagined such a scene, Huston sighed and
walked straight to the bed. He leaned over and patted the
person under the blanket gently. “Are you asleep?”
In exchange, Evelyn twisted her body with resentment and
shook her shoulders hard as if she wanted to shake off his
hand.
Huston got up and walked to the door. He turned off the lights
in the bedroom, then turned around and walked over. He
simply sat down beside her, slipped his big palm into the crack of the quilt, and suddenly grabbed her waist and twisted it.
Like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, Evelyn immediately rolled to the side. Her hair was messy, and her eyes were
burning with anger as she glared at him. “What are you
doing?”
“You don’t want to get up. This method is the most effective.”
His expression was indifferent as if Huston was educating disobedient juniors. His tone was helpless and self-righteous.
Evelyn was in a bad mood and wasn’t in the mood to joke with
him. She pulled the blanket over her and tried to cover herself
again, but she was stopped by Huston.
Evelyn said impatiently, “Let go of me!”
The man looked at her with his deep eyes. There was a hint of
oppression in them, which made her feel a little scared. “No.”
Evelyn couldn’t do anything to Huston just because he said it
casually.
Aside from glaring, Evelyn could only do so. After staring for
a long time, her eyes were sore. However, this person was as steady as a mountain. From beginning to end, Huston did not
even change his expression.
Evelyn was anxious and aggrieved. After a moment of silence, she collapsed on the bed pitifully and stopped struggling. “Are you trying to piss me off?”
