Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 362

Chapter 362 Now You Regret It, Too Late!

Evelyn was in a bad mood after what Mia had done. On the

way home, she looked out of the window and did not say a

word. Huston knew that it was useless to persuade her, so she

let herself calm down.

When the car drove into the company’s underground parking lot, Huston thought that it would be enough time for her to

calm down, but he didn’t expect that Evelyn would unbuckle

her seat belt and leave.

Huston suddenly frowned and grabbed her wrist. “You won’t

even say goodbye?”

Huston could accept all her little emotions, but he couldn’t

accept that Evelyn ignored him.

Evelyn replied perfunctorily, “Oh, goodbye.”

His blood pressure rose abruptly, and Huston choked on his breath. He felt extremely uncomfortable.

This little girl had grown up and dared to go against him now.

Seeing that he didn’t speak, Evelyn deliberately asked him for fear that he wouldn’t be angry enough. “Can I leave now?”

Huston tilted her head slightly and smiled. She didn’t expect that she would end up like this. She compromised and raised her hand to unlock the middle lock of the car. “Work hard. Let’s

have lunch together.”

Evelyn opened the door and got out of the car. Without looking back, she entered the elevator in high spirits. She

looked as if she was in a bad mood.

As soon as Evelyn entered the elevator, she stamped her feet

in anger.

“Mia, Mia, Mia!” She shouted this name three times in a row

and patted her head comfortably. “It’s all your fault. You’re full

of sympathy and useless, Now you regret it; It’s too late!”

Thinking of the scene in the morning, Evelyn felt sick. While

she was rubbing her hair, the elevator reached the fourth

floor with a “ding-dong” sound. The office workers in suits

rushed in. One of them was one of her colleagues in the office.

When she saw Evelyn pulling her hair, she was stunned for a

second.

Evelyn was stunned for a second, but she quickly came to her

senses. Pretending that something had fallen on her head, she gently swept her eyes over it and put down her hand.

“Evelyn, long time no see. I heard that you are off work. Are you done?” Viola, her colleague, greeted her politely.

Evelyn nodded. “Yes, it’s been almost two weeks. I shouldn’t

have asked for a break.”

“Well, I couldn’t even ask for two days off before, let alone two weeks.” Viola sighed. “If only I were like you. I haven’t been

home for a year and have no time.”

As soon as Evelyn heard this, she felt a little embarrassed. She could only comfort her. “It’s almost New Year’s. Let’s take a vacation together. My family is here. So I can help you.”

“Really?”

“Yes, if there is no emergency.”

“You’re so nice!” Viola immediately smiled happily and told her

a lot about what had happened in recent days.

In the past, it was impossible for anyone to tell her this, and it was too late to hide from her.

On the way back to the office, he happened to meet Stella. Speaking of which, Evelyn hadn’t dealt with her for a long time. At this time, Stella ran into her face-to-face. With Viola present, it was not good for him to pretend that he didn’t

know her.

“Good morning.” Evelyn was the first to break the awkward silence, but there were not many waves in her heart. Huston. had once told her that as long as it was not a deep hatred, she should not face it if it was acceptable.

It had been a long time since she last met Stella, and Evelyn had long forgotten about the small grudges between them.
