Chapter 43 My Woman Goes Back to Other Man’s Home
“But I need to use a computer.”
“There’s a laptop.” He raised his eyebrows and motioned for her to cut the crap and hurry up.
She had no choice but to sit on the sofa and continue working.
From 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., another hour had passed. She was so tired that she couldn’t even turn her neck. She stole a glance at the man who was still flipping through the documents. She closed the document, found a suitable position, and wanted to squint for a while.
The moment she closed her eyes, her brain instantly broke down and she fell asleep in less than two minutes.
Meanwhile, Huston was still focused on reading the documents. when the woman’s soft snore came from not far away.
He looked up at the time. It was nearly nine o’clock. He put down the last document in his hand and walked to the little woman curling up on the sofa.

The bright light above her head fell on her face, which was not soft and even a little dazzling, but the woman in deep sleep did not seem to be affected. Her long and curly eyelashes cast a shadow, and her skin was so white that it almost reflected the light. Her beautiful pink lips were unconsciously half-open, and

He raised his hand to touch her soft lips, but she did not wake up even though he increased his strength a little.
She was the first person who dared to slack off and sleep under the president’s nose.
The corners of the man’s mouth curled up slightly. He thought, “Forget it, I’ll let her sleep for a while.”
When she woke up again, it was almost ten o’clock. She was shocked. When looking at the documents on the table, she felt a headache. “Oh, no, I haven’t sorted them out yet.”
He pulled her over and said, “I’ll send you back.”
“I’m not going back now. Prepare tomorrow’s information first.” With that, she walked out.
The man frowned slightly, moved his long legs to block her way, and said in a heavier tone, “Evelyn Shelton.”
Every time he called her by her full name, she would always tremble with fear. Especially when she saw his unhappy expression now, she felt even more uneasy.
Between being scolded by the manager and being tortured by Huston, she decisively chose the former. If she couldn’t finish it, she would be scolded. If she resisted Huston, she might die even more miserably.
Moreover, from eight o’clock to now, Jerry had contacted her more than 20 times with phone calls and text messages.
“Fine, I’ll go back,” she thought.
She resigned herself to her fate, took her bag, and walked out of HM Law Office with Huston. After getting in the car, she continued to sleep soon. He did not wake her up. The car was quiet. Occasionally, shadows would flash by the window, but there was a different kind of feeling.
Half an hour later, the car stopped at the side road in front of Hill Villa. Huston woke up the woman in the passenger seat. She opened her eyes in a daze and looked out of the window, only to find that she was home. She unfastened her seat belt, opened the door, and got out of the car. She waved at the man inside through the window. “Be careful on the road. I’m going in.”
Looking at her delicate figure and the brightly lit villa behind her, Huston suddenly felt a little upset, as if his pet was going to be given away to someone else.
