Chapter 453 You Must Leave Me
Evelyn turned around and entered the cloakroom to take
away the clothes and jewelry that she had brought with her. She didn’t move anything else. In the middle of the room, she saw a white nightdress. When she quarreled with Mia, Huston specially bought an identical nightdress and hung it on it, but Evelyn had never worn it again.
Evelyn smiled mockingly. In fact, it was not a matter of a dress.
Mia had no good intentions.
The clothes and items were placed at the bottom of the box
one by one as if they had been placed at the bottom of her heart. Evelyn still couldn’t help but tear up, and the soreness in
her throat made her throat burn.
Evelyn was not particularly anxious and said goodbye to everything here silently.
About an hour later, she locked the suitcase and took a deep
look at the room. When Evelyn was about to leave with the
suitcase, the bedroom door was suddenly pulled open from
the outside.
Evelyn turned around and saw a familiar black figure.
Evelyn felt as if her heart had been smashed by a hammer. She was so surprised that she staggered two steps back. “Why did he come back? Didn’t he say that he had an important social engagement…”
When Huston met her surprised gaze, his gaze quickly followed her hand and landed on the silver suitcase. The

The man standing in front of her finally walked toward her,
step by step, as if he was stepping on her heart, steady and heavy. Finally, he stopped where he was two punches away from her. “Did you come back just to pack up and leave?”
His voice was very soft, but it made people feel not relaxed at all. It was full of seriousness. Evelyn’s strength was taken.
away, and she couldn’t stand such a terrible gaze. She
unconsciously loosened the box with her right hand. With a
click, she didn’t scare him but made him shiver.
“Why are you back?”
“If I didn’t come back, would you have left?”
When their eyes met, there was an indescribable emotion
in her eyes. At this point, she finally understood it. It was not anger but sadness.
Evelyn moved away first. When she lowered her head, a
faint smell of alcohol wafted into her nose. Only then did she
realize that Huston had drunk alcohol tonight.
She couldn’t help but panic. “Did you drink?”
Huston didn’t reply. He just looked at her quietly. Tonight, he
