Chapter 540 There’s Hope Before the Result Comes Out 

Huston didn’t believe it. This was impossible.

He slowly turned to look at the river. Everything was charred black. The strong smell on his breath reminded him that everything was real and not an illusion. 

Firefighters were rushing around in search and rescue while Huston stood still, slightly hunched over as if unable to straighten up due to extreme pain. “It’s impossible, absolutely impossible…” he murmured. 

As time went by, the sky gradually darkened. After hearing the news, Kevin rushed to the scene with his medical team. As soon as he got out of the car, his body stiffened.

He watched the firemen swim back and forth. They were looking for the girl in his heart. But why did they have to look for her on the river? 

Kevin squatted beside him and looked at his despondent 

expression. He could not bear to say that cruel answer. “There’s still hope before the result comes out.”
