Chapter 74 Being Drugged
When she came out of the restroom, Charlie was waiting for her at the entrance of the tea house. He was dressed in a formal suit and stood under the bright light. His body was tall and straight, and his long legs were straight. He was very eye-catching.
Occasionally, young waiters would pass by and they would take a few more glances at them.
Seeing her walking over, he put away the phone in his hand. and said, “I’ll send you back.”
“No need. I have to go somewhere else.”
Charlie’s deep gaze fell on her face. “A date?”
“No.” She sighed helplessly. “The divorce.”
“Divorce?” Charlie was shocked again. “How old are you?”
“24 years old.” She knew what he was thinking. Afraid that the atmosphere would be awkward, she even joked, “When I got married, everybody was single, and when I divorced, everybody was still single. What a waste of time.”
Charlie didn’t expect her to be in the mood to tease herself. Knowing that it was inconvenient for her to deal with private matters, he didn’t force her. “Go ahead. If there’s anything…”
She didn’t hear him clearly. “What?”
Charlie waved the phone in his hand at her. “Call me if you need anything.”
She was stunned and felt that there was something wrong with his words. However, when she saw his calm and unperturbed eyes, she felt that she had worried too much, so she agreed. “Okay.”
The Red Cauldron was one of the most famous entertainment
clubs in the city. It was famous for its high consumption. Any
one of its booths costs more than 10,000 dollars a night, let
alone a VIP room. The most ordinary bottle of wine there cost
more than 10,000 dollars.
However, only members could come in and spend money. In
order to become a member here, one had to have a certain background verification.
When Evelyn entered the room and reported her name, no one stopped her. It was likely that Jerry had informed
someone in advance.

However, she did not see him when she pushed the door open. The door was soundproof and she could not hear the noise
outside.
She found Jerry’s number and dialed it. The caller was busy. She walked to the sofa and sat down. She saw a bottle of wine and a glass of water on the table. Did he go to the restroom?
There was a strange smell in the room. She wrinkled her nose and didn’t take it to heart. Maybe the smell of cigarettes and alcohol was a little pungent.
She waited for more than ten minutes, but Jerry was still nowhere to be seen. She looked around the private room and suddenly felt that something was wrong. She stood up and was about to walk out when she felt dizzy.
More than half of her strength seemed to have been taken
away. She stood for less than two seconds and then fell back
on the sofa.
She tried to stand up again with the help of the sofa, but she couldn’t exert any strength at all. It was as if there was a stone weighing a few tons pressing down on her head, making her
lose her balance.
She cursed in her heart and struggled to take out a wet towel
nose.
Before she could calm down a little, the door of the private room was opened from the outside again. Two men were wearing black coats and black trousers. Their faces were
blurred in front of her, but she could tell from the outline that they were not Jerry!
*Crap!
It was a trap.
After the two men came in, they drove her out without saying a word. She struggled desperately, but the push was like an itch on the men’s bodies. It was useless.
She was taken to the third floor, which was full of business suites. It was obvious what they were going to do.
With a click, the door opened.
Just as she was about to be carried in, a force suddenly burst out from her body. She opened her mouth to bite the man’s
