Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 806

Chapter 806 What do you want to tell me

Huston looked at her wrinkled face and said, "I don’t mean to force you to do anything. I know that you have feelings for Bert, but he has other feelings for you. You should be able to feel it."

Evelyn bit her lip. Yes, she could feel it.

The man’s voice softened. "We should all see our hearts clearly, Evelyn. It’s also time to see other people’s hearts."

In the end, Evelyn decided to stay in Jewel City. After she made up her mind, the first person she informed was Bert. She took Lucas back to her apartment. Although Huston was reluctant to leave, he did not say anything when he thought of how she did this for him.

When the elevator reached the floor where they lived, Evelyn held the child’s hand and walked to the door. She was a little nervous. She had not had such emotion for many years when she faced Bert.

Evelyn took a deep breath and unlocked the familiar numbers. With a beep, the door opened.

She pushed the door open and saw a black figure sitting on the sofa.

"Hello, Mr. Harper!" Lucas opened his arms and ran to him. He threw himself into his arms and kept rubbing his head against his chest. "I’m missing you."

The stiff atmosphere was broken by the child’s unintentional action. Evelyn frowned, closed the door, and walked to the sofa to sit down.

Bert looked at her and said, "I’m coming."

With Evelyn’s throat tightened, she nodded and replied, "Yes."

This time on the phone, she only said that she had something to talk to him about, but didn’t say anything. But when she entered the room, she felt a little depressed. Evelyn guessed that he should roughly know what she wanted to say.
