Ben was pushed into the operating room at 9:30 in the morning. It was Dr. Clinton's first operation today. The reason why it was arranged was that, on the one hand, the patient would not be so nervous. On the other hand, the most relaxed and sober operation every day was the first one, so it would not be too much of a burden.
Before entering the operating room, Evelyn had done a lot of mental preparation for Ben, for fear that he would be afraid.
After he was pushed into the operating room, Lucy sat on the bench closest to the door. Evelyn leaned close to her and comforted her from time to time. Huston sat opposite them, looking calmer.
At this moment, he couldn't panic. He had to calm down.
Alexander came out in less than an hour and a half for the operation. Evelyn immediately got up to greet him and asked nervously, " Doctor Clinton, how is my father?"
Alexander was in such a hurry that he didn't even have time to take off his mask. After taking it off, he nodded with relief and said, "The operation went smoothly. After it's all done, we'll bring him out and transfer him to the ward. Don't worry!"
A heavy stone finally fell to the ground. Evelyn felt a little tired after being tense. Lucy put her palms together and kept murmuring, "God bless us."
Huston walked up to Evelyn and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "It's all right."
"That's great..." she murmured. The corners of her eyes were a little red, and her eyes were a little straight. She was too tired.
Ten minutes later, Ben was finally pushed out of the operating room. The anesthesia had not passed yet. He had not woken up, but his body was in good condition.
