Chapter 947 Why Don't You Go See Your Parents?
After trying on the wedding dress, Evelyn and Huston saw that it was just the right time, so they drove to the school to pick Lucas up. The car was quite stable. They could have waited in the car, but most of the parents were waiting in the car. Huston had to get out of the car. He stood behind the school gate, afraid that others would not know that Lucas's father was there to pick him up.
Evelyn followed him, feeling that he was childish, and moved at the same time. After all, they had been separated for so long, and he was afraid that other students would look down on Lucas in school and laugh at him for having no father to take care of him.
When Lucas walked out of the school gate, the first thing he saw was Huston standing opposite him. Lucas was very excited. He ran over, took their arms, and said in a crisp voice, "Mom, Dad!"
Huston picked him up and was so shocked that Evelyn opened her mouth. "How old is he? Why are you still holding him? Put him down!"
"It's okay, it's not heavy. No matter how old he is, he's still my son." The man didn't feel embarrassed at all and was very proud.
Evelyn could only give up and let him do as he pleased.
Seeing the father and son get into the car, Evelyn sat silently in the passenger seat. Seeing that it was still early, Huston tilted her head to look at the little woman beside her and suddenly suggested, "Shall we visit your parents later? You've been the one to visit them since Ben was discharged from the hospital. I haven't officially come to visit them yet."
Evelyn didn't expect him to still be concerned about Ben She was surprised. "You want to go?"
When he got along with Ben, he always felt a little embarrassed. Maybe they were both men, but he didn't know how to express it. One was her other half, and the other was her father. They were more or less a little scrupulous.
Therefore, when he took the initiative to bring it up, Evelyn was very happy.
"Go ahead, take Lucas with us." After that, he glanced at his son in the back seat from the rearview mirror. "Do you miss grandma and grandpa?"
