Felix rushed to H city overnight to pick up Marina. 

When he arrived, Daniel had taken Marina to the lounge and waited, and he had been talking to Marina. 

Marina knew something was wrong when she saw Daniel for the first time. 

When Felix showed up at the police station, she wasn’t surprised. She was already mentally prepared. 

Marina hugged her son and stared at Felix defensively. She was worried that Felix would hurt her son in a fit of rage. 

Daniel stepped forward with a smile: “The police didn’t recognize that it was Mrs. Maya. It was a routine interrogation, so there was a misunderstanding.” 

Felix stared at Marina coldly, then put on his workplace smile, and said politely, “I’m bothering you.” 

“It’s all a misunderstanding, just explain it clearly.” Daniel smirked: “Take a step to speak.” 

Felix knew Daniel had nothing good to say, but he had to see what Daniel was going to do next. 

Daniel brought Felix to the office, handed Marina’s statement to Felix, and said in a sympathetic tone: “Congressman Maya, look. They’re all men, and I’m not worth it for you.” 

Felix thought about many possibilities, but he didn’t expect that Marina would admit the relationship with Jeremy in the confession, even the child was not his. 

After Felix read the statement, his face became ugly with anger. He held his confession tightly. 

Daniel was satisfied when he saw Felix’s face was not good- looking. 

If it made Felix unhappy, he would be happy. 

“Relax.” Daniel comforted, but he was very happy in his heart: “It’s so late, you should take your wife and child back first. It’s cold at night, and the child is young, so you can’t make such a fuss.”
