"How is she?" Horace asked. Clara was stunned for a moment before she realized he was asking about Helena.

She repeated the nurse's words, said nothing more and fixed on having dinner.

Horace had guessed that she didn't eat much food today, so he didn't say anything more.

Because she had dinner late this evening, Clara couldn't sleep so soon, or it would be bad for her health. Therefore, she sat on the sofa and turned on the TV.
