Chapter 208 Marrying a Fool
Before Charlotte could reply, Yvonne fell to the ground, crying, acting like the female role in romance dramas.
Charlotte glanced at her indifferently, turned around, and walked into the house.
Seeing that she was ignoring her, Yvonne became even angrier. “Why are you ignoring me?”
She walked quickly and rushed straight into the villa.
Mandy wanted to stop her, but Charlotte shook her head and said, “Let her in and see what’s going on.”
After rushing into the room, Yvonne sat down on the sofa unceremoniously and even asked Mr. River to serve her fruits.
Naturally, no one paid attention to her.
Yvonne looked around angrily and cried again. “It’s okay that Charlotte looks down on me, but why do you guys look down on me? You even don’t serve me any fruits!”
This time, the cry lasted for about half an hour. During this period, neither Charlotte nor Mr. River looked at her.
Yvonne didn’t have the power to cry. Her eyes were red and swollen and she shut up without saying a word.
Seeing that she finished crying, Charlotte sat down beside Yvonne and handed her a glass of hot water. “Tell me the reason why you come here.”
Looking at the calm Charlotte, Yvonne was in a trance for a moment.
Yvonne still remembered that after Charlotte was framed by her parents, she once hid in the bedroom alone and cried bitterly but had never shown a trace of weakness in front of them.
Perhaps from then on, she had already determined that her so-called family was unreliable.
“They want to marry me to the youngest son of the Uland Family.” Yvonne had a trace of despair in her red and swollen eyes. “But he… is a fool! If you hadn’t forced my parents to pay back the money, how could they have sold me to the Uland Family like this?”
After hearing this news from her parents, Yvonne felt that her world had collapsed.
She had fantasized countless times about what kind of person she would marry in the future. Perhaps he would be a son of an aristocratic family on par with the White Family, or he might be a very handsome lover, but he could never be someone like the youngest son of the Uland Family.
Thinking of this, she looked at Charlotte sadly. “Although they set you a trap at that time, Joe was one of the top elites in Atlanta, but I…”
“They succeeded because I saved the life of Sir Smith.” Charlotte
interrupted her coldly. “Otherwise, how could the White Family force Joc to marry me?”
It could only be said that Sir Smith had long agreed to let her be the daughter-in-law of the Smith Family, which was why Levi and Diana could only agree.
