“I think Tony has been doing something weird recently. You have to be careful.” 

Trevor called Charlotte almost every two days for some time. In his words, he must get her support and tell her everything whether big or small about the Pope family.

Charlotte was so angry that she laughed. 

She shook off his hand and crossed her arms in front of her chest. “You’re overthinking, Mr. Smith. I’m not your employee. Normally, you can’t find me. As for avoiding you…” 

She looked at him from head to toe and then pursed her lips. “There’s really no need.” 

Joe’s frown deepened. He did not like the way Charlotte talked to him now and did not know when she had become like this.
