Chapter 217 Tony’s Request
Sensing that something was wrong with Charlotte, Joe gave her a look to ask what was going on. Charlotte made a gesture to Mrs. Fox not far away, and the other party sensibly left.
After she left, Charlotte turned on the speaker. Tony said arrogantly and obscenely, “So what if it’s me? Don’t you think you’re a good mother? Your children are in danger now. Can’t you save them?”
He burst into laughter, then gritted his teeth, and said, “Charlotte, It serves you right.”
She was not irritated by him. Instead, she asked calmly, “What do you want?”
“Beg me,” Tony said coldly. “Aren’t you very arrogant? I’ll let you have a taste of what it feels like to beg me.”
“Please.” Charlotte said without any hesitation. She said it so fast that Tony didn’t feel a sense of accomplishment at all. Instead, he felt insulted.
Tony was furious. “So this is your attitude. Don’t you want them anymore?!”
Charlotte sneered and said, “Will you give them back if I say so? Don’t do these fancy things. Just tell me your purpose.”
Tony seemed to have thought of something, smiled obscenely,
and said, “You want me to let go of the children? No problem. I want you to sleep with me for one night.”
“Tony Pope!” Before Charlotte could speak, Joe, who was next to her, said first, “You’re courting death!”
Joe’s mood had almost reached the freezing point. Boundless. anger burned in his chest. The cold and hot emotion made him so furious that he wanted to tear Tony into pieces.
Tony was also taken aback. He didn’t expect Joe to be there as well but quickly regained his composure. “What’s wrong? Mr. Smith, I remember that those two little brats are your children. You’re quite lucky with women. But so what if you’re awesome? You still have to send your ex-wife to my bed obediently, don’t you?”
Joe gripped his phone tightly and suddenly dialed a number. Out of the blue, he instructed the person inside, “Cutting all business deals with the Pope Group.”
Tony also heard that. He didn’t expect that Joe would still have the guts to provoke him when the children were in his hands. “Joe! If you dare to touch the Pope Group, I’ll chop off their hands and feet and throw them into the sea to feed the fish!”
Joe looked at the phone coldly and said, “Do it if you can.”
“Charlotte, do you want to make a deal or not?” Perhaps Tony was worried that Joe would really attack and acquire the Pope Group, so he stopped arguing with him and turned to ask Charlotte.
Charlotte was noncommittal but asked another question, “Tony,
you shouldn’t be able to do such a thing on your own. Who is helping you behind the scenes?”
