Chapter 359 Physical and Mental Exhaustion
Sharon went to help Charlotte out in person.
Looking at him, Charlotte said helplessly, "Anyway, I just escaped from death. You look like I haven't been rescued yet."
Sharon glanced at her and said, "You were a smart person when you were in the Clinton family. How did you become a fool after returning to the country? How could you be kidnapped?"
The domestic guns had always been strictly controlled. Charlotte never thought that Cowper had a gun in his hand.
She turned to look at Sharon and asked, "How is Mandy? Is she all right?"
Sharon said with a gloomy look, "That shot happened to be stuck in her ribs. Fortunately, her life was not in danger."
Charlotte breathed a sigh of relief. It was great that she was fine.
Seeing that she was walking with difficulty, Sharon simply picked her up and walked steadily past the stretcher.
Seeing this scene, Joe and Sharon saw each other. Although neither of them spoke, they could clearly see the hostility in each other's eyes.
When the paramedics walked, they accidentally stepped on a rock and stumbled. The stretcher hit his wound, and Joe's face turned pale.
Sharon clearly saw the whole process from beginning to end. He curled his lips and held Charlotte across the stretcher.
Joe was speechless.
It was not until they went down the mountain that Charlotte saw rows of police cars, ambulances, rescue cars, and so on, which were waiting at the scene.
Seeing that Charlotte was safe, Officer Carter also breathed a sigh of relief. He smiled and greeted her. "You are indeed a lucky person. Everything will go well in the future."
Charlotte thanked him with a smile, and her gaze fell on Cowper, who was squatting not far away.
