Joe was indeed quick. In no time, he brought out three fish-related dishes that looked and smelled delicious.
"Have a try," Joe carefully placed the fish into Charlotte's bowl, his eyes full of affection.
Charlotte didn't decline and immediately put the fish into her mouth.
Joe's cooking skills were excellent; the fish had no hint of a fishy smell but instead highlighted the fish's freshness and unique aroma of the sea. Charlotte was genuinely surprised.
"I didn't expect your cooking skills to be so amazing," Charlotte sincerely praised.
Joe smiled but didn't say anything.
Who would have thought that just over a year ago, he couldn't do anything, but now...
He quickly glanced at Charlotte, deciding to suppress the thoughts in his heart.
After having a great time on the island for three days, Joe finally took Charlotte back home.
As soon as they entered the villa, Ben and Anna rushed up to them.
Their eyes shining, they looked at Charlotte and asked, "Mom, did you have fun?"
Charlotte patted their heads and smiled, "Of course, I'll take you with us next time."
Ben and Anna immediately cheered, grabbing the gifts Charlotte and Joe had prepared for them, and ran off.
It must be said that Joe's decision to take Charlotte on a date was the right one.
In just three short days, Charlotte's mood visibly lightened, and even the pressure from her amnesia seemed to have lessened considerably.
However, at this moment, Morgan was feeling terrible.
By chance, she discovered that Smollett was conducting some illegal psychological experiments. And he had been caught red-handed by their mentor, who had even considered expelling Smollett from the university...
Unfortunately, not long after their mentor discovered this, he died in a car accident.
