It was early winter in Albania.
The night was deepening, and people walking along the sidewalk could not be seen clearly. With the frigid gust of wind, the passersby walked quickly and wrapped their coats. They muttered and hurriedly went forward through the dim yellow light.
Jack completed the tutoring work, crossing the alley to go home.
"Don't move."
Suddenly, Jack heard the familiar word, which was a husky female voice. He stopped and felt a slight tingle from his waist.
The woman had a knife against his waist.
Jack listened to her raise his hands and calmly said, "My purse is in the left pants pocket, and there are nearly three hundred dollars. If you want the money, you can take it."
The woman croaked, "Let us go to your home." The voice with slight wheezing made Jack nervous and frown.
In case it happened at an inappropriate time and place, this kind of voice easily caused wrong meaning.
"I don't live here..."
His words were endless, and Jack snorted because the knife stabbed in the waist.
The woman hurriedly said, "Quickly, now." And Jack had to take the woman to his rented apartment.
It was a small apartment, and everything in it was tidy. That showed the host was neat and elaborate.
Jack helplessly said, "My house has no treasure."
After his words, Jack heard the sound of falling to the ground behind him. He hesitated for a moment and quickly turned back to check.
Jack surprisingly found that the woman who had been threatening him had fainted on the ground, and... she was so pretty.
