Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1035

"Thinking about calling the cops again, are you?"

Mr. Richard had been knee-deep in the chaos of integrating the medical base these past few days, and finding out what Blake did to Cynthia just tipped him over the edge.

"Do I need to remind you of your own misdeeds?" He shot Blake a look filled with disdain. "Blake, as an associate professor, you targeted a student. Just look at yourself. Do you even resemble someone fit to teach? You're out of here!"

When she bad-mouthed Flora on Twitter, he figured she was just bitter, envious of Flora's honorary professor title at such a young age while she was still stuck as an associate professor. He'd let it slide, given all her years of hard work. But this time, Mr. Richard had reached his limit.

A teacher abusing her power, degrading students, and even threatening to sabotage their graduation? Who did she think she was?

"Mr. Garcia, I'm the one being wronged here!" Blake glared at Mr. Richard, her eyes bloodshot. "You've seen what I've been through, and yet you still stand up for Flora!"

"Fine! Go ahead, protect her!" Blake was teetering on the brink of hysteria. "I'm calling the cops! I will!"

"Go for it," Flora said with a casual yawn. "Make your call."

"Beck, hand her your phone."

Beck, ever loyal to Flora, fished out his phone and tossed it to Blake. Her own phone was a complete wreck, shattered beyond repair.

Beck felt a twinge of regret for his phone; it got all dirty the moment Blake, who'd just rolled through a trash can, grabbed it.

Just as he was lamenting his phone's fate, Connor chimed in, "Don't worry, claim it on expenses."

Beck's eyes lit up at the thought. Could he swing for a new model? Maybe an iPhone X!

"Flora, are you sure about this..."
