Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1046

After stumbling upon some damaging posts about Flora online, she wasted no time booking a late-night flight home. As soon as she landed, she dashed to the University of Maple Grove, eager to find Flora.

She arrived in Rafael's car, but given his high-profile status, he couldn't come in, so he waited outside. She headed in solo.

Right then, Lydia spotted Kaylee and saw her as a beacon of hope. Kaylee, just 19 and a college freshman, had already made her way into Rose's Studio. Her knack for design was one reason, but her friendship with Rose was the real ace.

Lydia figured Kaylee, being so close to Rose, could put in a good word for her. Lydia was convinced that the industry's cold shoulder was all because Howell was smitten by Flora. If Rose stepped in, Howell wouldn't stand a chance against her!

This was Lydia’s chance. She felt a surge of hope and rushed over to Kaylee, grabbing her hand tightly. The officer nearby didn't expect this sudden move from someone who seemed so defeated moments ago and was caught off guard.

"Kaylee, it's me, Lydia!" Lydia clung to Kaylee’s hand as if her life depended on it. "Can you please talk to Rose for me? Ask Rose's Studio not to shut me out! It's Howell and Flora—they teamed up to ruin me!"

The police tried to pry her away, but Lydia shouted desperately, "Tell Rose it’s Howell and that troublemaker Flora! I'm being framed!"

Lydia thought this was her one shot at redemption, almost losing herself in the frantic plea, not noticing Kaylee's expression turn icy cold.

"Kaylee, my sister's telling the truth, she really was set up by Flora!" Blake chimed in, not knowing who Kaylee was but understanding Lydia's desperation.

"Wait, you're Lydia? The one who interviewed at Rose's Studio a few days back?" Kaylee gave Lydia a steely look.

"Yes, yes, that’s me!" Lydia felt a spark of excitement, thinking recognition might help her case.

"That troublemaker Flora seduced Howell, then framed—"
