Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1061

Mr. Richard's eyes lit up with excitement, and Flora glanced over, curious. A mixed group of men and women approached, led by an older man with salt-and-pepper hair, who still had a lively spring in his step. It was none other than Kruiz.

Mr. Richard was practically buzzing with excitement, rubbing his hands together eagerly. Kruiz had finally arrived! His idol!

As Kruiz spotted them, or more precisely, as he spotted Flora, his eyes brightened, and he quickened his pace. The folks trailing behind him hurried to keep up.

Mr. Richard, with Flora in tow, approached with a respectful nod, “Mr. Kruiz, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Mr. Garcia from the University of Maple Grove. We've come to welcome you personally.”

In the medical world, Kruiz was a heavyweight, a true force to be reckoned with. Even Mr. Richard had to tread carefully and respectfully.

Kruiz, though, was barely paying attention to him, his gaze locked onto Flora. Mr. Richard noticed this and nudged Flora gently, hinting for her to greet him.

Flora complied, albeit with a bit of reluctance: “Hi, Mr. Kruiz.”

Her tone was casual, almost indifferent. But it was enough to catch Kruiz off guard, pleasantly surprised.

This girl, suddenly being so nice to him! Not only had she come out to meet him in person, but she’d actually said hello!

He knew all too well that despite his frequent messages, Flora rarely responded.

The group behind Kruiz was also curiously eyeing Flora. They’d heard plenty about this world-renowned champion. Kruiz often spoke about her, and tales of her adventures on Lone Island, along with her ties to the Falcone family and her status as the missing heiress of the Reyes family, had reached their ears. She was quite the celebrity!

On Lone Island, she could do whatever she pleased! Even they had to show her some respect.

Mr. Richard, clueless about her reputation on Lone Island, frowned, thinking Flora’s attitude could have been better.

Others from the University of Maple Grove felt the same. They knew Flora’s personality, but outsiders did not!

What if Kruiz got the wrong impression of Flora? With her about to join the medical base, earning Kruiz’s favor was crucial! He had a lot of influence there!

“Mr. Kruiz, Flora's always like this, please don’t mind her,” Mr. Richard quickly interjected, trying to smooth things over.
