"Hey, sis!" The woman sounded a tad upset.
"Do you still want that chance to visit Kruiz's lab or not?" Kylie quietly scolded her.
The woman immediately straightened up.
She had gone to great lengths to convince Kylie to take her on a tour of Kruiz's lab.
As an A-level student, Kylie could bring two guests each time, and plenty of people were bending over backward to snag those spots.
Kylie strode right past Flora, casting a chilly glance her way.
Flora, huh.
She made a mental note.
"Flora, you've got some guts!" a staff member said, wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Kylie's got a lot of pull around here. You've just arrived and you've already ticked her off. What are you going to do now?"
Because the medical base was so isolated, news didn’t travel fast. They only knew Flora was a world champion, but they had no clue about her ties to the Falcone family and the Reyes family.
The staff member figured she was on her own.
Crossing Kylie, how would she ever get by at the base now?
Others who gathered to watch couldn't help but shake their heads.
This world champion sure had some attitude.
Crossing Kylie, she was probably toast.
What a shame.
Sigh.
Seeing Flora's calm demeanor, the staff member let out a long sigh.
Truly a case of a young cub not fearing the tiger.
Well, what's done is done. There was no point in saying more.
He continued showing them around the base.
"I've got things to do, so I'll head back," Flora said casually.
The staff member assumed Flora was in a bad mood – understandably so, after crossing Kylie.
He nodded, "Go back and rest up. You remember the way, right? Don't get lost."
Flora gave a quick nod and headed back.
