Kenneth shut his eyes, feeling utterly defeated.

"As for him," Connor glanced at Hawthorn, who was barely clinging to life on the ground, "find a place and bury him."

The woman who dared to curse him must have had a death wish.

"Yes, sir," Rory nodded with respect.

"You two—" Connor suddenly fixed his gaze on Jacob and Carly.

The two were on the verge of breaking down from fear, and the moment he looked at them, they dropped to their knees with a thud!

"Want to head out and take a look?" Flora asked.

"Sure," Connor nodded, always willing to go along with Flora's suggestions.

Kenneth hadn't shown up either.

"Still not out?" Joey overheard and wandered over. "That's funny, my two troublemakers are missing too. Seems like they messed up and got held back. Sydney, did your brother get in trouble too?"

Joey was about to leave since he couldn't spot Jacob and Carly, but he realized Flora was nowhere to be found. He'd sent folks to look for her, but she hadn't turned up yet.

So, he decided to stick around and wait for Flora. He worried that since it was her first time at the training field, she might get lost and end up somewhere she shouldn't, which could be a disaster.
