Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1302

"Mr. Marsh, back again, are we?"

Corbyn descended the stairs with a playful grin. "Oh, here just to bring something for my sister, huh?"

"Well, what can I do when she's so particular?" Brodie's devilishly handsome face lit up with a mix of helplessness and indulgence.

Flora and his sister weren't just look-alikes; their personalities were strikingly similar too.

"Hey, boss." Tara greeted Corbyn with a respectful nod as he approached.

"All good." Corbyn smiled at Tara before heading straight to Flora. "There you are, kiddo. I was worried you might sleep in and miss it. The execs are all waiting for you upstairs."

"Do I have to show up this early from now on?" Flora groaned, rubbing her head. "I'm really not a morning person."

Corbyn was at a loss for words.

Sis! You think nine is early? Look at Tara, she's up and about before eight!

Getting into the Medical Hall is an opportunity most would dream of, but for Flora, it seemed like a chore.

But what can you do, except pamper her!

"Alright, how about ten from now on? But no later, okay?"

Flora reluctantly agreed.

"Alright then, the execs are waiting. Come on up." Corbyn glanced at Brodie. "Mr. Marsh, if you'll excuse us."

With that, he energetically whisked Flora upstairs, a kind of enthusiasm Tara had never experienced.

Tara pressed her lips together, feeling her heart twist. She approached Brodie. "Uncle Brodie..."

"What's up?" Brodie asked with a smile.

"Could you maybe stop making food for Flora? You're so nice to her, I'm getting jealous..." Tara half-joked, half-serious.

Brodie chuckled, his charming face softening. "Silly girl, no matter how nice I am to her, we're just acquaintances. You're my niece by blood, something she can't match."
