"Aunt Julie, let me introduce you to Fiona, the one who gave Nash a good punch earlier."
But Ms. Ashley quickly brushed her off and, with enthusiasm, stepped forward to grab Fiona's hand like she had just found her long-lost daughter.
"Oh wow, Fiona! What a surprise to bump into you here."
Fiona smiled back, "Hey, sis."
Nash and Louise's eyes widened in disbelief.
Fiona called Ms. Ashley "sis"? And Ms. Ashley, who hadn't shown Louise any warmth the entire way, was now all cozy with Fiona!
"Mom, you two know each other?" Nash was taken aback.
"Of course we do," Ms. Ashley chuckled. "You little rascal, let me tell you, I really like Fiona. If you ever try to mess with her, you'll have me to deal with."
"Oh, wait." She paused, correcting herself, "Not that you'd have the guts to mess with Fiona anyway."
Nash: "......"
"Fiona, if Nash ever causes you trouble again, just go ahead and sock him one, just don't go too far!"
Ms. Ashley spoke with such conviction that Robert and the others couldn't help but smirk.
To anyone not in the know, it seemed like Fiona was Ms. Ashley's own daughter.
They glanced at Nash with some sympathy, realizing his low standing in the family.
Watching the friendly exchange between Ms. Ashley and Fiona, Louise felt a chill run down her spine—this was nothing like she had imagined...
"Alright, alright, let's stop standing around and go grab some dinner," Ms. Ashley said cheerfully. "This is actually the first time Fiona and I are having a meal together."
Ms. Ashley quickly led Fiona into the Golden Hotel.
The manager immediately approached, "Mrs. Woods."
