"No, no, no... I don't want this! Please, have mercy on me, it was all Rosa's doing, it has nothing to do with me!"
Rosa?
Hearing the name, Fiona nodded thoughtfully. "If that's the case, I won't make things tough for you. Just call her over, and we can settle this once and for all, alright?"
The group around her was all too eager to have Rosa brought in, hoping to pass the buck. Every crime has its culprit, and they were more than happy to point fingers.
The leader, trembling slightly, fumbled for his phone to make the call. It wasn't long before Rosa showed up, her legs almost giving out beneath her at the sight of Fiona.
"Weren't you kidnapped? How could you..." she blurted out, quickly realizing her mistake and clamping a hand over her mouth, eyes wide with fear.
Fiona regarded her as if she were a foolish child, the little snake on her arm growing restless, itching to slither free.
With deliberate steps, Fiona approached Rosa, looking her up and down with feigned surprise. "I thought the mastermind behind such a sneaky plot to kidnap me would be someone impressive. But now, it seems... you're not much at all."
Rosa was out of her depth, confronting both tigers and snakes in this scenario. From the moment she arrived, she knew there was no escape. Her knees felt like jelly, and she could only lean against the wall, gasping for breath. Her eyes darted to the menacing tiger in the corner, sending shivers down her spine.
Fiona crouched in front of her, a sly smile on her lips. "Scared already? Such a shame, there's still a lot you haven't witnessed. Your people already spilled the beans—every debt has its debtor. So, here you are."
