"I've had it up to here with those idiots, always gossiping behind our backs. Just wait, I'll drag them here and settle this right in front of you!"
As soon as those words left his mouth, the entire class seemed ready to join forces, itching to storm over to class 5 and confront them.
Fiona, seeing their eager faces, rubbed her temples and was about to speak when a familiar voice came from the doorway.
"Ms. Fiona, are you alright?"
Everyone turned to see it was Mr. Keaton, their homeroom teacher, who let out a sigh of relief upon finding Fiona sitting safely. With a playful wipe of imaginary sweat from his brow, he chuckled softly.
However, his mood soured when he noticed the students' fired-up demeanor. His eyes landed on Robert, the most visibly agitated, and he pointed at him with a slightly trembling finger.
"What’s this? Planning a brawl, are we?"
Robert, caught by Mr. Keaton’s stern look, opened his mouth to explain but thought better of it and clamped it shut.
The focus shifted back to Fiona. "It's nothing," she said, standing up with her usual effortless cool.
"I've already spoken with the school administration. They're taking this seriously, so rest easy; your safety at school is guaranteed."
Fiona’s connections were so powerful, they were untouchable. If anything happened to her at school, it wouldn’t just be Mr. Keaton in hot water—Principal Garcia’s job might be on the line too.
He had broken into a cold sweat upon hearing about Fiona’s kidnapping, his shirt drenched.
Fiona acknowledged him with a nonchalant nod, while Robert still seemed visibly upset.
"Mr. Robert, if you have something to say, just say it. We’re not kids here; no need to hold back."
