Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1465

Good students are always in high demand. But when it comes to those who struggle, they're treated like the plague, avoided at all costs. Isn't that just too convenient?

“Ms. Megan, aren't you overthinking this a bit?” Keaton sneered. Not only was she overthinking, but she was also dreaming. The other teachers were starting to squirm in their seats. Megan’s bold words were making them uncomfortable.

“What’s the matter, Mr. Keaton, are you unwilling to share your students?” Megan looked at Keaton, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “So, Mr. Keaton’s supposed moral high ground is just an act. When it comes to good students, you don’t want to share. Why pretend all the time?”

“Ms. Lee!” One teacher tugged at her sleeve, signaling her to stop. But Megan wasn’t backing down. “I admit, sometimes I leave myself open to criticism, but at least I’m real, not putting on a show.”

“In what way am I pretending?” Keaton was flabbergasted by her unfounded accusations; he felt like he was about to have a heart attack. “You want to know who aced this test? Fine, I’ll tell you. It was Tyler. You know who Tyler is, right?”

Tyler... At first, Megan didn’t react to the name, but then she caught Keaton’s mocking gaze, and it hit her like a ton of bricks! Tyler was the new transfer student, the one she had insisted on passing off to Keaton!

“Mr. Keaton, you must be joking. There’s no way Tyler could achieve such outstanding results on this test!” she blurted out without thinking. Tyler had dropped out in eighth grade; it couldn’t possibly be his work. Keaton must be pulling her leg!

“No, Ms. Lee, look, this is Tyler’s work!” The teacher next to her said excitedly, “Look, it even has his name on it! It says Tyler!” They'd been so focused on the test itself, they’d forgotten to check the name!
