Janet was taken aback, watching her classmates around her get swept up in their wild ideas. She was at a loss for words; it was blatantly obvious they were all trying to put pressure on her.
She couldn't help but roll her eyes internally, a hint of disdain creeping onto her face. These folks couldn't even score a ticket, yet here they were dreaming of meeting Allen. They must be out of their minds!
"You guys are overthinking this. He's super busy, and after singing all night, how could he possibly have the energy for autographs? Besides, I don't even know him personally, and it wouldn't feel right to just barge in on him!"
Janet was utterly baffled by her classmates' nerve. And come on, who was Allen? Even if her dad had business dealings with Allen's manager, it didn't mean she could just waltz in and meet him whenever she felt like it. She hadn't even had the chance to meet him privately herself; what were these people thinking?
"But didn't you say your dad has some connections with Christina? I saw her backstage just now. Why not ask her? Just think of it as doing us a little favor!"
"Yeah, we're all classmates. Can't you help us out with this tiny thing?"
Others chimed in, encouraging one another. Janet was about to hit her breaking point, letting out a sharp laugh. "I don't have that kind of influence. If you want autographs, go get them yourselves. I'm not capable of that. I've already managed to get us a bunch of tickets and brought you all to the concert; that's plenty as classmates."
"Janet has her own challenges. Let's not push it. Just being able to see him up close is more than enough for us."
Someone quickly stepped in to smooth things over, and the pressure eased.
